I am a wife, bonus mom, daughter, niece, auntie, cousin, sister, sister friend, bibliophile, TK (teacher’s kid), spiritual ruminant, cat mom, dance walker, forest bather, collector of tarot and oracle decks, and practitioner of epistemic disobedience.
I’m also an accomplished visual artist and intuitive art practitioner whose artwork has been featured in several films and an expressive arts educator who loves helping young artists develop social and emotional skills through creative play and exploration.
I have a B.A. in Philosophy from Spelman College and an M.B.A. focusing on social entrepreneurship from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. Originally from Houston, TX, I live in Los Angeles with my husband, father, son, and cat. When I’m not playing with paints, inks, papers, and beeswax in my home art studio, I love reading nonfiction books and hiking in the Angeles National Forest.
